Dato Dr Siva Ariaretnam is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon of more than 20 years experience with special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty. He believes in early mobilisation after total joint surgery using a combination of muscle sparing surgical approaches and robotic assisted surgery. Today he will share with us his methods of wound closure and how this helps him in his quest to move patients early and to reduce the risk of complications of surgery.
