Malaysian Ringgit (RM) – Travelers cheques and foreign currencies can be changed for Malaysian Ringgit at banks and hotels. Money changer kiosks are available at major shopping complexes and airport. Most major hotels charge a nominal fee for currency conversion. ATM machines are plentiful and located just about everywhere in Kuala Lumpur.

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the Conference. The policy should include loss of fees/ deposit through cancellation of your participation in the meeting, or through cancellation of the meeting itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Most visitors arrive at either Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1), Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA Terminal 2) which are both located approximately 58km away from the city centre.
The fastest and most convenient way to get to Hilton Kuala Lumpur from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is by taking the KLIA Ekspres high-speed train. The train connects KLIA to KL Sentral station, which is within walking distance of the hotel. The journey takes approximately 28 minutes.
You can also take a taxi from KLIA to Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Airport taxis are readily available at the airport, and the journey will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic conditions. Ensure that the taxi uses the meter or agree on a fare before starting your journey.
