Prof Dr Carsten Perka has been Medical Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery at the Charité in Berlin since 2015. His clinical focus has been on hip and knee arthroplasty for almost two decades. He has been associated with the German Association for Endoprosthetics (AE) for many years as a board member, secretary general and president. In addition to his intensive clinical work, Prof Dr Carsten Perka is also very active in the field of science. He is Scientific Director of the EPRD and spokesman of the EPRD Executive Committee. He plays an active role in the Collaborative Research Center 1444, is treasurer of the internationally renowned International Hip Society and chaired the steering committee of AO RECON for 3 years. As a board member of the Bone Joint Journal, he is actively involved in the development and content of one of the most internationally relevant journals in the field of orthopaedics/trauma surgery. Dr Edsel Arandia

Dr Edsel Arandia is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, College of Medicine and Surgery. He took his Orthopedic residency training at the Philippine Orthopedic Center. Further honing his skills, he underwent subspecialty training in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Singapore General Hospital (Singapore) and further trained in Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement and Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. Prof Dr Sumon Nandi is the chief of the Adult Reconstruction at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He specializes in complex hip and knee arthroplasty, hip and knee revision, knee arthroscopy, etc. Prof Dr Nandi is an active clinical educator and researcher with over 170 publications, serves as EBM of Arthroplasty, and has presented at national and international conferences many times. Prof Dr Tăng Hà Nam Anh, MD, PhD (b. 1974), is President of both the Vietnamese Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Society (VAAS) and the ASEAN Association for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA). Prof Wang is the President of China College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (CCOS) and China Orthopedic Elect Club (COEC), and the Past President of the Chinese Orthopedic Association(COA), Chinese Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (CAOS), Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society, etc. Up to now, Prof Wang has published more than 350 peer-reviewed papers with more than 6800 citations. He is also the Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Orthopaedic Translation, and the Honorary Member of The Hip Society.

Prof Dr Yixin Zhou

Prof Dr Yixin Zhou is the chief physician of the Department of Orthopaedics at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, and the Past President (2023-2024) of Arthroplasty Society In Asia (ASIA). He specializes in knee/hip arthroplasty, femoral head necrosis, acetabular dysplasia, primary arthroplasty of hip/knee/ankle, and revision arthropathy. He was the first surgeon to perform bicompartmental partial knee replacement in China and focuses on the research of non-total arthroplasty and non-replacement surgery for osteoarthritis, and is also one of the most experienced surgeons in performing revision arthropathy. He established the "Circle-Point-Column" theory of complex acetabular reconstruction and invented the extended hip and knee fixation technique, and designed the corresponding prosthesis and surgical tools, which greatly improved the efficacy of hip and knee revision surgery.
