Dato Dr Suresh Chopra is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Arthroplasty Surgeon at Putra Medical Centre, Alor Setar. He holds an M.B.B.S., Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery (UM), Sports Medicine Diploma (Australia), and a UK Arthroplasty Fellowship from Exeter.
A prominent academic leader, he served 26 years as Head of Orthopaedics at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah and chaired Malaysia's Arthroplasty Subspecialty for 14 years. He has delivered over 120 international lectures, conducted live surgeries globally, and published 60+ papers. As an honorary university lecturer, board examiner, and expert panellist, he actively mentored undergraduate, postgraduate, and subspecialty fellows in complex hip and knee arthroplasty.
