Prof. Dr. Shahid Noor is a senior arthroplasty surgeon, trained in United Kingdom with three decades of experience in complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty as well as revision knee and hip arthroplasty. His special interest is in management of PJI hip and knee. He was country representative for Pakistan at 2nd and 3rd International Consensus Meeting on PJI. He has pioneered 3D printed custom tri flanged acetabular component in revision THA in Pakistan.   
Prof, Noor is founder President of Pakistan Arthroplasty. Seventy doctors have done fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in different high-volume center in Pakistan. Prof. Noor is founder Director of Pakistan National Joint Registry launched in 2014. 
Prof. Noor is the past President of Asia Pacific Hip Society and first vice president of Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society.
