Presently works as Joint Director and Consultant joint reconstructive surgeon at Asian Joint Reconstruction institute in Chennai.
Special interest in arthroplasty of the young patient and has a keen focus on hip resurfacing and partial knee replacements. 
Has delivered numerous guest lectures in various national & international conferences and performed over 85 live surgical demonstrations of hip, knee arthroplasties in India and many other Asian countries. 
Experience of doing more than 2000 hip resurfacings, which is the largest in Asia and the 5th largest in the world. 
He has also done extensive work in acetabular component positioning, which was published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (Br) in 2010.
Has developed many innovations in arthroplasty like the HALO stem, MonoMod revision stem, the Robotrix  platform for TKR, etc 
Invited overseas visiting faculty for many prestigious associations, including AAOS ( American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons), Australian Orthopaedic Association, South African Orthopaedic Association.
Has delivered more than 10  orations in arthroplasty of the hip & knee.
