Dr Vijay Kumar is Professor of Orthopaedics at AIIMS, New Delhi, with expertise in arthroplasty, sports injuries, and complex joint reconstruction. He has completed international fellowships in the UK, USA, Singapore, and Germany. An accomplished academic, he has over 90 indexed publications, 32 abstracts, 14 book chapters, and 32 funded research projects, including international collaborations. He has delivered 403 guest lectures, 169 international and 37 national presentations, and organized 52 conferences and workshops. He has guided 30 postgraduate theses and served as examiner in over 50 academic evaluations while holding leadership roles in multiple national orthopaedic societies
