Dato’ Dr. S. L. Vijaya Kumar is the Head of Orthopaedics and Senior Consultant, as well as Head of the Clinical Research Centre, at Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim in Sungai Petani, Malaysia. He holds a Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) from Malaysia and completed an Arthroplasty fellowship in Australia. Involved as principal investigator for multiple multicentre clinical trials, his research focuses on deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis, knee osteoarthritis, and fragility fractures
