Dr Rizal Abdul Rani is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, specialising in hip and knee arthroplasty, with an interest in robotic-assisted replacement surgery.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Southampton before completing his postgraduate training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He subsequently completed his arthroplasty fellowship at UKM and further enhanced his expertise through attachments in the UK and Germany.
Before transitioning to private practice, Dr Rizal served as an Orthopaedic Consultant and Lecturer at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, a public university teaching hospital, where he was involved in the education of future orthopaedic surgeons.
